The Shining Sea Bikeway is easily accessible by car from our vacation cottages in Yarmouth and Dennis. It’s about a 40-minute drive, making it a perfect day trip for those who want to explore another of Cape Cod’s incredible bike paths.

• By Car: Head towards Falmouth and park at one of the designated parking areas listed below to start your adventure.

Parking Information for the Shining Sea Bikeway

Parking for the Shining Sea Bikeway is easy to find, with several free parking lots conveniently located along the trail. Here are some of the most popular parking spots:

• Falmouth Depot Parking Lot: Located at the start of the bikeway in Falmouth, this lot offers plenty of space and direct access to the trail.
• Trunk River Parking: Located just 1.7 miles from the start of the trail, this small lot offers beautiful views and easy access to the path.
• Woods Hole: Limited parking is available near Woods Hole, where the trail ends at the ferry terminal, offering a great spot to start if you plan to visit the village or take a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.
• North Falmouth: Parking is available at the northern end of the trail, making it easy to start your journey heading south toward Woods Hole.
